Brother Trouble’s Jason and Mark Sutton always considered music a fun endeavor. But when country superstar Kenny Chesney dubbed the duo “America’s Next Big Star,” they took the compliment seriously. And that fun endeavor suddenly became a professional determination to live up to Chesney’s prediction.
The Sutton brothers grew up in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in a musical family. Their dad kept his prized Gibson Les Paul guitar hidden under his bed but once the brothers discovered it, the musical bug bit hard and despite his admonishment, they couldn’t keep their hands off it. They each learned to play guitar and throughout their adolescence, honed their harmonies. They also sang in church where they learned to appreciate the power of a song.
